Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning aims at contributing to the transformation of spatial environments that have been subject to rapid urbanization since the 1950s and to the production of alternative solutions provided for the existing spatial processes.

The basic aim of graduate and postgraduate education is to educate qualified people and urban planners who are sensitive to man, nature and cultural processes, have the required professional knowledge and skills and adopt a professionally ethical behaviour.
